I was raised in a strict home, and we moved around all the time. I’ve been to five different high schools. I was perpetually the new kid, and therefore always felt like an outsider. It didn’t help that I was also very introverted and super shy.

As a kid I was always very sensitive to my environment, and could deeply feel what others were feeling. I remember when I used to sit and listen to my sister play piano, who carried a lot of pain and sadness. I could hear and feel the emotion pouring out of her through her playing.

I never quite knew what to do with my sensitivities, and instead grew to consider it a burden, and obstacle, instead of a strength.

I got pregnant at a very young age, birthing my daughter when I was only 19. This was a huge turning point for me in my life.

I married her father and the relationship was a rocky and unhealthy one, to say the least. It took me 17 years before I finally decided that I was done with the toxic roller coaster.

By that point, I had already begun my health journey, and was eating well, practicing yoga, beginning to meditate, living a holistic lifestyle, and exploring alternative healing modalities. However, the life I had been living was a heavy one, emotionally draining and ultimately led me to chronic illness.

It wasn’t until the stress and emotions started to manifest physically (rashes, hives, digestive issues, body paralysis, and waking up in the middle of the night gasping for air) when I ultimately made the mind, body, and spirit connection that I needed to make a change.

I then began the journey to heal my physical and emotional body, learning so much about the nervous system, trauma, and harmful affects of long-term chronic stress. I have found healing and transformation through a variety of techniques and holistic modalities that I adopted into my practice to inspire others to restore and maintain their health and happiness in a natural way.

I became a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Reiki Master, supporting natural health using whole foods, herbs, and supportive lifestyle practices. I offer guidance in stress management, self-care rituals, and cultivating a balanced relationship with food, body, and mind.

I believe that in order to address the root cause of any imbalance, you must address every aspect of a person’s lifestyle, dietary habits, physical state, mental health, and emotional well-being.

My passions, interests and studies have included Ayurveda, Shamanism, ancient wisdom and traditions, herbalism, aromatherapy, crystal healing, vibrational energy work, meditation, forest bathing, plant medicine, sound healing, yoga, and qigong.

 
 
 
Stress and emotional trauma has a significant impact on our health and can manifest in physical ways if we let it go for too long. I had been living in a chronic state of stress, which is what led me down a path of chronic illness and autoimmune issues. I intuitively moved toward integrative health and the mind, body, and spirit connection, which began my healing journey and I haven’t turned back. My life has completely transformed, and inspired me to do this work for others. I wouldn’t be here today without the help of those who have supported me.
